Kingdom Come is a Christian clothing brand created by photographer Corey Ross. Based in London, Corey says hes designed are inspired by the Holy Spirit and that he uses his clothing as a subtle form of evangelism.
Watch here:
Corey says he gets looks from people in the street whenever he wears Kingdom Come and this opens the door to speak about Jesus: When I put it on sometimes I feel like a superhero. I look at people to see how they react, people on the tube see it, when Im going to work they see it. People shout across the street Jesus said what?, theyre dying to know and itll be playing on their minds for a while.
The photographer and fashion designer said hes had some negative experiences too: there was a false prophet in Oxford Street who was judging me for what I was wearing. I asked how can anyone hear you if youre deaf? and he said by reading the written word. I pointed at my shirt and said exactly. Ross also spoke about when he went to take pictures at an event where the Queen was to attend and her entourage didn't receive his t-shirt very well: "one of them saw it and didn't like it and told me to remove it. Back then I got really offended by it and thought 'what is the purpose of saying God save the Queen if she doesn't even like this?' She couldn't even say the name, they said 'that slogan'"
