The Altar 2024 Unveils Stellar Lineup: Nathaniel Bassey, Sinach, Warehouse Worship & Sunmisola Set to Take the Stage

“The Altar" worship experience returns for a second year on June 28th, bringing together a star-studded lineup of gospel's most revered worship leaders. Over 10,000 worshippers are expected to gather for a night of powerful uplifting worship at the Ovo Arena, Wembley.
 
The UK gospel scene is undeniably vibrant this year. We had William McDowell back in April, Fred Hammond is scheduled for July and remember the near meltdown on Instagram when Kirk Franklin & Maverick City announced their global Kingdom tour hitting our shores? Social media went into a frenzy.
 
Hosted by Jesus House, The Altar is a gathering for Christians across the UK to unite in worship and raise a collective "altar of worship” to God. Speaking about “The Altar” , Pastor Agu Irukwu, the visionary leader behind the event, said: "We believe God will pour out His spirit on this night, sparking a revival across the land. We expect people to encounter God in a fresh and transformative way, leading to a harvest of souls."
 
Inspired by Psalm 27:7-10 The Altar aims to be a place where "the King of glory shall come in." The Altar's 2023 edition packed the OVO Arena with over 10,000 worshippers, solidifying it as one of the year's biggest worship experiences. No stranger to The Altar stage, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey is renowned for his ability to shift atmospheres with a single trumpet note. A global leader in worship, Bassey is the convener of the Hallelujah Festival.
 
Overnight sensations WareHouse Worship are UK Gospel’s new kids on the block and will make their “Altar” debut on June 28. A Gen Z fan favourite, the collective has silently led a worship revolution, drawing thousands across the country to their worship encounters.
