This year's awards are particularly special as they mark the 50th anniversary of gospel music in the UK. As the voice of UK gospel, Premier Gospel is proud to showcase the incredible talent that makes up the vibrant and diverse UK gospel music scene.

The Best Newcomer category is open to artists who have released music in the past 12 months and is decided by public vote. This year's nominees include Laura Ehio, Latoya Bless, Day Three Music, Adeshola, Vonte Grace and Tofunmi Adorna, all of whom have demonstrated immense talent and promise in their debut year.

The Best International category celebrates the contributions of international gospel artists to the UK music scene and is also decided by public vote. This year's nominees include Jonathan Reynolds, Mercy Chinwo, Victor Thompson, Rehmahz, Tye Tribbet, Doe, Ryan Offey, Pastor Mike Jr and Caleb Gordon all of whom have had a significant impact on the UK gospel music industry and have helped to elevate the profile of gospel music on a global level.
