Two full length projects and multiple live performance dates later, CalledOut Music has been recognised by the MOBO award body and nominated in the Best Gospel Act category for 2020.
Judging from social media responses to the nomination, UK gospel fans and industry influencers alike agree that the nomination is well deserved. CalledOuts strong work ethic resonates with his fans who regularly join him on Instagram Live for music demo production sessions. The consistency and quality of his work is well documented and applauded by all.
GMIA Chairperson, Tolu Adepegba said: I am very happy that CalledOut Music was nominated. Its very well deserved. He has put in so much work, effort, time, and dedication over the last few years and had some top selling albums plus a sold-out concert. Not many artists can pull that off so early in their careers. He is just a phenomenal artist who knows what works in terms of his sound and what people want to hear. He is a great representation of UK gospel right now. The younger generation love him and its great to see him flying so high.
With over 10 million spotify streams and combined music video viewings of almost 9million, its safe to say that CalledOut Music has a strong following, and the MOBO award committee might just be his newest set of supporters.
