Founded in 1994 by conductor Karen Gibson and managed by Professor Jonathan Shalit OBE, the choir were joined by the Sony team at Kensington Palace to celebrate the deal.
The album will include the incredible rendition of Stand By Me which went straight in at No.1 on the Billboard Gospel Songs Chart and has been viewed more than 10 million times on YouTube.
The Kingdom Choir have signed a major record deal with Sony Music UK, following their performance at the Royal Wedding earlier this year.
Founded in 1994 by conductor Karen Gibson and managed by Professor Jonathan Shalit OBE at InterTalent, the choir were joined by the Sony team at Kensington Palace to celebrate the deal.
The group will go into the studio later this month to begin work on their debut album, which is set for release on November 2.
It will include the rendition of Stand By Me which went straight in at No.1 on the Billboard Gospel Songs Chart and has been viewed more than 10 million times on YouTube.

Following a outstanding performance of 'Stand By Me' at the Royal Wedding earlier this year, the Kingdom Choir have put pen to paper on a major record deal with renowned label Sony Music UK. Not only that, but the group will release an album on November 2nd followed by a headline show at Union Chapel on November 28th.
