The bi-lingual smash hit Boo Noo Nii topped the Apple music charts in Ghana on release day and also trended on Youtube.
Following a relatively quiet 2020 during which the singer tied the knot with the love of his life, Mettle is back with a brand-new project projected to cement his position as Ghanas most internationally recognized contemporary gospel artist.
With features from Ghanas -MOG Music, Pastor Isaiah Fosu-Kwakye and Eric Jeshrun, Americas - Michael Stuckey and Nigerias- Dunsin Oyekan, the 13-track album takes listeners on a worship journey, hence the apt title The Experience.
The albums lead single Ye Obua Mi (Help Me) based on Psalm 121 was released in June to rave reviews, and has since racked up almost half a million Youtube views.
Unlike most of Mettles live recordings which were recorded in a concert setting, The Experience was taped in an intimate glamourous home setting with only a few dozen people in the audience, reflecting the times we are in.
When asked what the vision for the album was, Mettle responded saying: ".. that souls would encounter Christ and be drawn into a deeper relationship with Him.."

Its been a decade since multi-award-winning gospel artist Joe Mettle burst on the scene with his album My Gratitude. Follow up projects Sound of Praise and The Encounter propelled him to the top of the charts; however, its the lead single off his 2017 album God of Miracles that won him the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artist of the Year title.
