Four times Christians and their children shared the same gift

Every gift is given by God, in fact the bible tells us in James 1:17: every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, so whether it is to sing, preach or speak it is the gift of God. Sometimes gifting can run in the family, heres a few moments where gospel artists and their children have shared the same gift for ministry. Brian Courtney Wilson and son Joshua In a video posted by gospel and contemporary artist Brian Courtney Wilson we see his son sharing the spotlight in praising the Lord. Some said in the comments: my Lord. Wow. What a blessing to see this generational anointing and gift be empowered by a proud father! and another said: like father, like son! I know you and your wife are so very proud! To GOD be the glory!

Lurine Cato MBE and daughter Sara-Simone During the Childrens Souls festival 2022 The MOBO and 2x Premier Gospel Award Winner Lurine shared the stage with her daughter. The artist wrote on her Instagram: singing a duet with my daughter for the first time in public. I was actually meant to sing this song by myself but got me daughter to help me with it. Comments remarked on her daughters incredible gifting and how much of a beautiful moment it was.

Karen Clark Sheard and daughter Kierra Sheard Grammy Awardwinning gospel singer, songwriter, and businesswoman Karen Clark Sheard is known for her Hit songs God is Here and I Will Be Right There and her daughter has followed in her music ministry footsteps. Kierra Sheard, or Kiki as known by many, has become an award wining gospel artist in her own right. Heres the mother daughter duo performing together at the BET Awards in 2020. Bishop TD Jakes and Sarah Jakes Roberts Bishop T. D. Jakes is one of the most renowned preachers of this generation and last year he surprised his daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts, by handing over the giant Woman, Thou Art Loosed ministry to her. Bishop T.D. Jakes wrote on Instagram: @SarahJakesRoberts: I have watched you grow from my baby girl into a leader, changemaker, and influencer with a reach far beyond generations of women. Youve touched the lives of so many, and as your earthly father, Ive never been prouder! He further added: "It is my distinct honour to pass the torch to you. Youve earned it and will excel wherever God takes you for womens empowerment! May God bless Woman Evolve in 2023! This is my vow to you: I will always be there to put my coat over you for as long as I live, and gladly so. For as I decrease, I will watch God increase you!
