When asked about the video, Faith Child said: "Comedy and humour are always a great way to convey a serious message. I was on a virtual panel last week discussing single-hood and was asked how women could position themselves to be approached by men. After sharing my thoughts with a dash of humour, the comment section blew up. So after I finished the panel discussion, I thought let me record it and put it out there and the rest is history."
Akosua DF: Were you surprised that the video went viral?
Faith Child: I knew the video would be well received but I didnt expect it to go as viral as it did! My phone has been hot ever since. Theyre now asking for a part 2. Help me God!!
Akosua DF: Do you have any other wise words for your single folk? [laughs]
Faith Child: The primary thing Ill say is that your identity is not found in your relationship status. First learn to love yourself. Find out who you are, work on being the best version of yourself. It is totally normal to desire a relationship, and that is something you can take to God in prayer. Whilst youre waiting for the right person to come along, date yourself! Do solo trips, whether that be to a cinema or restaurant or concert. Be so content in yourself, so that when your partner comes along they compliment you, as opposed to completing you.
