With two albums and multiple singles to his credit, the Basingstoke native has earned an AGMMA award, over 10million Spotify streams and most recently a UK entertainment award.
This year's MOBO gospel category was a tight race with The Kingdom Choir, Guvna B, Noel Robinson and Shekinah all vying for the title of Best Gospel Act.
Upon hearing of his award win, CalledOut Music said: Honestly winning a MOBO is like a dream come true. I remember being a teenager and watching the MOBOs on TV every year thinking that it would be so cool to be recognised, and now being the recipient of a MOBO myself is just mind blowing. Im really excited. Its a testament of Gods grace and just all the hard work that has gone on with HFP consistently creating content. I am so humbled by the support.
HFP Label Founder, Chibuzo Okuro echoed CalledOuts sentiments adding: We want to say a big thank you to Premier Gospel and the MOBOs. Huge congrats to all the nominees all very worthy winners. This is a big win for HFP, its a huge win for CalledOut Music but it's an even greater win for UK Gospel.
Recognised as the leader of the new school of UK Gospel, CalledOut Music continues to fly the flag for the genre. Its just a matter of time till other mainstream award bodies follow the MOBOs cue and honour him for his work.
Catch the MOBOs tonight at 7pm on YouTube and BBC One at 10:45pm.
