Heralding from the impressive Winans lineage, the audience were treated to the spiritual and soul-inspiring renditions from an amazing line-up.
Featuring gospel group Korean Soul with their melodic accompaniment to BeBe's song 'Question is', followed by incredibly spirit-filled performances by songstress Karen Clark-Sheard, songs by award-winning VaShawn Mitchell to the beautiful harmonies of younger Winans siblings. Gospel giant Donnie McClurkin was in full voice as he entered the stage, sending the audience into full song. The night was additionally blessed with a solo by older brother, prolific gospel songwriter and singer, Marvin Winans. It was hard to believe there was this much talent on one stage in one night - a collection of gospel music's best at the event called A night with BeBe and friends.
Muyiwa opened the celebrations and very quickly the atmosphere in the room at The Dominion Centre, was full of anticipation for what was to unfold. No one was left disappointed as the artists displayed their vocal excellence and Bebe entertained the entire auditorium.
Songs such as 'Love said not so' and 'It's not magic' were heard from the stage as the audience enjoyed and sang along with every line in choral harmony.
The venue was filled to capacity with praise and cheers from all areas of the auditorium.
A night with BeBe and friends was truly not to be missed.
Friday night saw the exquisite display of some of Gospel Music's finest and most established artists as thousands gathered for the amazing concert in honour of gospel music's multi-Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and producer, Bebe Winans's 60th birthday.
