A new collaborative EP by the UK's next generation of Gospel artists is launching at the end of this month. Some of the artists featured include multi award-winning rapper Guvna B, Becca Folkes, and the 2022 MOBO nominees, Still Shadey, Asha Elia and CalledOut Music. The team set up a launch party on Monday night, hosted by Capital Xtras Rob Bruce and BBC Radio 1s Jeremiah Asiamah. Gospel artists Dia Day, Annatoria, Sharyn, and more did a live performance of their new songs from the EP. From the sounds of it, this project is filled with a mix of music from Afrobeats, to Garage, Hip-Hop and R&B. Each artist has brought their unique voice to the EP through the singing, writing and the rapping. Throughout the launch party artists shared with the crowd the meaning behind the EP, Wole Agbaje singer/songwriter featuring on the project said: "I was in one of the first meetings with Guvna B when the idea of the EP was first pitched to him and immediately I was so excited about the idea of bringing so many gospel artists together to write a project all about hope and ultimately pointing people to a loving Saviour." Winner of Premier Gospel's 2022 Best Newcomer award, Annatoria, also shared what it means for her to be on the project, she said that: "This means the world to me because I was listening to Guvna B growing up, it's a big opportunity for me. It's so empowering, there are many incredible artists on the EP and I'm just honoured to be amongst them all." The full EP will be available to download and stream on Friday 25th November.
