When major leaders including President Biden visited Cornwall in June for the G7 summit, most of them did not know how much prayer was going on behind the scenes. But the MP for St Ives and Christian, Derek Thomas, was right at the heart of the local church's involvement. Christians met weekly in the run-up to the event to pray for each leader and the discussions they would hold. How can your church learn from this model of supporting a local political event and engaging with their MP? (Ft. Cornish seagulls.)
As it's the last episode before the summer recess, Tim Farron and Cara Bentley reflect on what they've learnt from this series and Cara asks: what do MPs actually do over the summer?
